Perseids 1997: visual results

VISUAL RESULTS 1997

Until know (August 13th) we could observe over 40 hours this summer.
A new record, only 1983 was comparable. Nine clear nights between
August 4th and August 12th are very rare in the Netherlands.
Below are the results, maybe some more will follow in the next nights.
But the moon is interfering more and more ... Observing with Rita
Verhoef, Adrian Verhoef, Arnold Tukkers, Ralf Mulder and Frank Kooiman
was very pleasant. We had a great time, and more observations are
planned.

Thanks also to Marc de Lignie who photographed during the maximum
nights from the Public Observatory Lattrop.
